Privacy Policy
Strictly necessary storage only — no tracking, no advertising, no third-party analytics.
Overview
This page explains how this website (article.igds.org.cn), the official portal of China Economist, handles visitor data. We do not run advertising and do not use third-party tracking.
Local storage (cookies and similar)
We only use strictly necessary browser storage: a session-level language-switch flag, your acknowledgement of the cookie notice, and a login token for editorial staff (admin users only).
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.
Visit analytics (optional, consent-based)
Only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie prompt will this site load an analytics script (e.g. Google Analytics with IP anonymization) for aggregate traffic analysis; choosing “Essentials only” means it is never loaded. Clear your browser storage to choose again.
Read & download statistics
To display article read and download counts, the server records access events. IP addresses are used only as salted hashes for short-term de-duplication; plain IPs are not stored and are not used to identify individuals.
Subscription details
Email, name and organization submitted through forms are used solely for subscription contact and confirmation emails, and are never shared with third parties.
